The vision Alan and Connie Higley had for the new building of Aroma Tools was to create a warm and inviting space for their customers to shop and host their own events. The Architect, Kris Pasker, designed a 22,100 sq. foot building that takes advantage of the gorgeous mountain views in the East and creates a juxtaposition between the event center and retail experience that draws people in and creates a sense of community. Opal Design Group aided in the careful selection and coordination of the finishes, space plan, and decor. Big D Construction provided excellent craftsmanship and communication during the entire construction process.

The goal for the shopping space was to give customers an inspiring and memorable experience. Using subtle shades with pops of white, raw metal and natural wood the palette becomes a simple, yet elegant backdrop to showcase the products. With drop down walnut ceiling clouds overhead and wood LVT tile underfoot, every finish in the space has been carefully selected to create a cohesive statement. The invitation to stay a while is fully extended by including a book reading area, will-call lounge and kid’s playroom throughout the retail space. The will-call feature was carefully thought out with special park- ing stalls just outside the doors for convenience.

Eleve ́ Event Center is located on the second floor, featuring moveable dividing walls to accommodate multiple classes at the same time or one large class with a total of 3,400 square feet available. These meeting rooms feature 10 ft. windows with breathtaking views of the mountains and an overlook of dōTERRA’s campus.

Walnut wallpapered ceiling clouds layer to create texture from floor to ceiling. White painted brick, wood LVT flooring, tile and natural wood finishes all work together to create a natural, yet sophisticated contrast.
