We live in a DIY age. With the birth of the internet came do-it-yourself guides, like youtube, blogging, and our favorite distraction- Pinterest. Now we have such easy access to the tools we need for any DIY we want to take on. The only down-side is sorting through things that really should never be DIYed- I'm looking at you decoupage light switch covers! But lately on our late-night Pinterest binges we've seen some pretty amazing IKEA hacks. A little paint, stain, and a few extra trim pieces and this nightstand was transformed from sad to fab.
John and Sherry at young House Love turned their Expedit shelf into a changing table! Genius. And framing it in wood just gives it enough of a wow factor.
ate over at Centsational Girl turned this plain dresser into a show stopper with just a bit of paint and linen fabric!
A little gold spray paint goes a long way. We've seen IKEA barstools and shelves with gold legs, but this desk took home the prize for us!
