If you are looking for a quick way to add some interest to an entry way, dining room, bedroom, or any room for that matter! There is one surface that often gets overlooked more often than not.
THE CEILING
The ceiling is often the forgotten surface. Look at how this extra long corridor was made more interesting with using a different paint color and texture. It totally changed the dynamic of the spaces connected.
We'll offer a few ideas of materials to use to add detail and depth to the ceiling. Let's begin!
WALLPAPER
We love the look of wallpaper on the ceiling, especially sisal wallpaper. You can see our recent Doctor's Office reveal with sisal on the ceiling in the waiting room.
BEAD BOARD WITH TRIM
First off aren't the details in this shot amazing!? The ceiling makes a huge statement! We love how they have used the bead board and the trim in an "X" shape to add more character.
RECLAIMED WOOD
Even though this image is of an outside covered patio the concept still applies. We love the pickled reclaimed wood look in this space! It really adds so much character!
flat mdf
Plain mdf can pack a huge punch with out breaking the bank! Here are a few great examples of flat mdf trim applied to the ceiling.
