This Holiday Season, we had the opportunity to decorate a Christmas tree for the Kenya Foundation, a local non profit organization that raises funds for a hospital in Kenya. We were so excited to meet the auction winner of the Opal Design Tree, Cheryl. We showed her a few concepts and color schemes for her Christmas tree, and we decided upon the traditional red and green Christmas. After many shopping hours, and a morning of decking the halls, this is how it turned out!
Christmas Tree Tips:
We know that decorating a Christmas Tree can be overwhelming, so here are 3 tips that may help you as you decorate your tree this year!
1. Use berries, leaves, sprigs of greenery, and other "filler" to bulk up your tree and add interest.
2. Use varying sizes of bulbs: small bulbs, medium bulbs and a few large bulbs to make the tree feel balanced.
3. Adding white to any color scheme makes the colors pop!
