We have seen a lot of these little breakfast nooks lately. We are loving the use of upholstered settees to warm it up and make it super cozy. Here are some suggestions on when and where a little banquet or settee would be the perfect thing.

high traffic areas

The image above is from Canada House and Home. We aren't usually huge advocates of leather , but doesn't it work great in this setting? The table is quite charming as well. Love the choice for a small high traffic area.

small nooks

For a nook that is just too small to adequately seat the whole crew with a traditional table and chairs a banquet seat like the one shown above may be just perfect. Look at how many more people could be seated in this tiny space. Isn't the beautiful light above it a great conversation piece?

cozy corners

For a cozy breakfast nook in a corner a tufted settee like the one shown above is so fun. A corner banquet lends itself to have a place for a few chairs too. We love the opportunity a to use a variety of texture and materials this cozy nook provides.
